It’s time to share my favorite 2023 home trends. At times I am nervous to discuss 2023 home trends because at times they come and go. However, there are trends that will last or evolve with time and I am excited to share what 2023 home trends will bring. Here are my favorites:

Moody rooms/dramatic spaces are here to stay

I adore the feel of a moody room with dark color palette. I feel that it is here to stay for a bit. If you are afraid to go dark or moody try it in the powder room first. Your powder room is the one spot where you can go crazy and not have to match the rest of the house.

Texture continues to dominate

I love when a space has texture somehow to make the room or furniture piece stand out. Texture gives things dimension and character. I love my blue teddy chair in our family room very much. That room has a white, beige, black and ivory color story. And from keeping the room from looking flat, my blue textured chair just brought the room together. So try adding texture with blankets, pillows, wallpaper, and small decor pieces if possible.

Total Nuetral home is not out, but it’s fading a bit

I was never a huge fan of the pure white or nuetral home. I found it extremely flat and boring. I love color and I feel color can set moods and excitement in a home anytime. I have exposed beams in our home and alot of white walls. I felt that I needed to have an accent wall to break up all the white. So we went with a beautiful teal blue accent to bring the room together. Enjoy color!

Art Deco is here!

I love art deco, especially since I live in Miami, FL. I always think about visual art, architecture with focus on geometric forms and luxury fabrics like velvet. I adore my Britto artwork and my green velvet couch. They are the pieces that set the tone for the room always. For art deco, go for key geomatric shapes in furniture, light fixtures etc.

Organization is still here

People love to feel organized in their homes and workspace. It is a ongoing trend that is not going to die. Everyone is a fan of the Home Edit IG account right? About 4 months ago I purchased the Home Edit kitchen organizer, and it has changed my life. Check out my Instagram Reel or Pinterest Idea Pin on it. And shop the post HERE.

Ultra white kitchen is fading

People want color again and personality in the kitchen. My kitchen is still a zen feel but to add more excitement I have wallpaper in my open pantry and I love the textured black tile on my peninsula. I am also a fan of kitchen island being a different  color than the rest of the cabinets.
